Food* Fitness* Fun is the theme of our hands-on action packed program where we teach the kids about the earth and the importance of taking care of her. Strength building exercises for body and mind, food preparation, gardening and earth-friendly art activities.
Ask about using our space for special events such as eco-friendly B-day parties, Rites of Passages or other Community Celebrations!
Every Wed Nite is Family Fitness Nite @ The Growing Green Wellness Center & Alchemy Café from 6-8pm. A night out for the whole family! Food, Fitness & Fun! Mini Spa Treatments for Moms, Informational Talks on Family Related Topics, Alternating Fitness Techniques. Free for members with parents on site unless otherwise indicated.

Check out our Infrared Sauna ($5 for ½ hour) & learn the ancient art of Ear Coning (involves fire!) – great family ritual! Ear cones cost $10 pair.

Creative Cooking for Kids. Wednesdays Jan 13, 20 & 27 at 6-7pm with Imani. Take the night off and treat your family to a wholesome and delicious meal that they help prepare! Teach your children the importance of eating healthy food at a young age! In this hands-on class, the children will learn how to prepare organic, whole food meals that they will enjoy! Parents Nite Out 1st Saturday of each month from 6-9pm @ The Growing Green Wellness Center. Drop off the kids for a night of food, fitness & fun! The kids will prepare an organic meal themselves (with help of course!) and will enjoy art & action until you return! Ages 5 & up. $20 per child if pre-registered or $25 at door. Family Meditation 3rd Sunday of each month 7-8pm @ The Growing Green Wellness Center. Join us as we chant, drum, journey – whatever calls us to celebrate the power of sacred silence with our families as a community.
Homeschool Hang Out! Ice-skating and Game Day, Fridays 11-2pm
$5 ice-skating @ the Trinity Rink followed by self-led games @ the co-op. Seeking families interested in organizing and participating in a weekly or bi-weekly food co-op, new moms group/playgroup for younger kids.
